Marvel Origins (Stop Motion Animation)

"Marvel Origins" was a commissioned animation for LEGO & Marvel, where we re-told the origin stories of four of the most popular Marvel Superheros. We started with research, and decided what versions and aspects of the stories to include. For example, we did not include the death of Peter Parker's (Spider-Man) Uncle Ben, because we wanted to ensure that it was for a broad audience. We instead focused on powers, and the personalities of the characters.

One of the challenges to this piece was that it was shot on a webcam with software that wasn't always playing nicely. As a result, the picture quality and animation is lacking in some ways (which improved tremendously on the next projects).

We were in charge of all aspects for this animated piece, and created everything except for the music track, and logos (provided by LEGO).
